Organizer Max kanowitz *Handpan Creativity & Improvisation Workshop* is a fully hands on and immersive music making experience for complete beginner to advanced handpan players! We are overjoyed to invite the handpan/pantam community for a deep exploration into new possibilities for learning, playing, creating and exploring on these instruments we love so much! The workshop will be hosted by Padma NYC, located just across from Union Square park! The class will feature a collection of D-Celtic pantams, one for each participant, that will provide the foundation for transformational group music making. The diverse activities and exercises at our workshop will provide perspective and unique insights in the areas of: 1. how we relate to ourselves as musicians 2. how we cultivate musical practice in daily life 3. how we create and collaborate with others To ensure the highest quality learning experience, each class will be limited to 8 participants. Tickets are available for purchase ahead of time, and it's highly recommended since same day purchase will not guarantee space in the course. **If you have your own instrument, you are welcome to bring it, as there may be an opportunity for you to share at the end of the class! **Ticket cost is $40 **Students are encourage to arrive as early as 9:30am for the first workshop, and noon for the Second workshop, to get comfortable, and settled before the start of the workshop.
