About the Instructor:
Mariko is an internationally recognized Yoga-Ayurveda Expert with over 27 years of teaching experience, author of Amazon’s #1 International Bestselling Book, The Yoga of Personal Development and creator of the forthcoming DVD series, Ayurveda Flow Yoga: Awareness in Motion.
A former professional ballet dancer as well as an Ayurvedic physician trained in India, Mariko brings a multi-disciplinary approach to Personal Development through her company, Visionary Yoga.
In 2003, the experience of working with numerous terminally ill patients caused her to apply for and win a national fellowship grant to study Ayurveda at one of the top Universities in India.
