Lecture with Ayurvedic Vaidya Dr. S.H. Acharya This is a rare opportunity to listen to an eminent doctor of Ayurveda, with whom I studied for 5 ½ years in India! Dr. Acharya is an internationally respected Ayurvedic doctor specializing in Pancha Karma, a powerful therapeutic modality in Ayurveda. He is an eloquent spokesperson, well-versed in the classic texts of this great tradition. In this lecture, Dr. Acharya will discuss what it really means to live ‘an Ayurvedic life’, the relationship between the microcosm and macrocosm, and the subtle interplay of the Five Great Elements, and The Three Doshas (Bio-engergies). You'll gain a deeper understanding of important therapeutic concepts in Ayurveda, especially of Pancha Karma. There will be refreshments, and a Q & A session at the end of the lecture. Space is extremely limited, so please register early to ensure your spot! Come and gain a deeper understanding of this profound medical system, often called “the Sister Science” to Yoga!
