He has shared the stage with notable artists from Vince Gill, Arlo Guthrie, and Tedeschi Trucks Band to Los Lobos, Iris Dement, G.E. Smith, Jorma Kaukonen, and Willie Nile. A native New Yorker, Robinson was raised in formidable music scenes from downstate New York City to the upstate Adirondacks. The honesty and grit of his eclectic influences combined with his love of all genres makes his sound uniquely distinguishable on the singer/songwriter circuit. Robinson is an award-winning writer whose emotionally dramatic songwriting style, passionate vocals, and homage to multiple genres have earned him accolades such as the 2018 Independent Music Award for Best EP in the categories of Country, Blues, Roots, and Singer/Songwriter, multiple Mid-Atlantic Song Contest awards, and even nominations for a Nashville Music City Award and NSAI/CMT Country Music People’s Choice Award.
