In 1972, Sydney Pollack filmed vocal powerhouse Aretha Franklin recording her transplendent gospel album Amazing Grace with the Southern California Community Choir. Technical issues kept the footage in the vaults, that is until film producer Alan Elliott restored it to its proper glory 30 years later.
