#tablajazz is a series by multi-percussionist, tabla and jazz drumset player Sameer Gupta. The on-going series is Tuesdays in the downstairs basement lounge (across from the Park Slope Food Coop) at 839 Union St, Brooklyn, NY 11215-1308, United States.
The sixth installment of the series features the Arun Ramamurthy Trio which has consistently delivered high energy improvisational explorations across the country, drawing from the South Indian Classical 'Carnatic' perspective and exhilarating modern jazz improvisation.
