Have you ever wanted to play bluegrass music with other people but never knew where to start? This class will focus on just that: bluegrass jam etiquette. This section of the Bluegrass Jam class is for Beginner to Intermediate players who can play basic chord progressions and would benefit from moving at a slower tempo while learning new songs and the basics of how to play in an ensemble.
We will learn various popular bluegrass tunes from artists such as Bill Monroe, the Stanley Brothers, and many more. You’ll also learn basic skills like ear training and music theory to help you navigate tunes you may not be familiar with, and give you the essentials to sound great even on a tune you have never heard before!
