Launch party for the Sudbury Meetinghouse with dinner, bar and concert by the Catnip Junkies.
Dinner will be provided by Tennessee's BBQ, with music featuring The Catnip Junkies Band. Happy, tappy, and brassy, they are definitely NOT your ordinary cover band! Infused with the energy of New Orleans street bands, their stylized pop covers, Tin Pan Alley, and trad jazz favorites, combined with hilarious antics, guarantee to engage and entertain your audience from start to finish.
Dinner menu includes:
- BBQ Chicken, Ribs, & Pulled Pork
- Mac and Cheese, cole slaw. and dirty rice
- Cornbread and rolls.
A cash bar will be available with wine, beer, and soft drinks.
Proceeds benefit Sudbury Meetinghouse, Inc., a tax-exempt organization under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3).
Opening doors, honoring history, creating community.
Prior to the concert at 4:00 will be family-friendly activities and Ice Cream from Trombetta’s Ice Cream hosted by Sudbury Meetinghouse to introduce the community to this new nonprofit organization supporting the preservation of the historic 1st Parish Meetinghouse. A ribbon cutting at 5:00 and parade at 5:30. Come early for the concert and find out what the excitement is all about.
