Curtis Hasselbring is a composer, arranger, producer, trombone and guitar player who has straddled the worlds of jazz, rock and electronic music for the past 3 decades. Curtis has performed and recorded with many artists including Medeski Martin & Wood, Slavic Soul Party, John Hollenbeck, Golem, the Ghost Train Orchestra and the Either Orchestra among others.

His latest release, Curtis Hasselbring & his Curhachestra, mixes every aspect of his multifaceted personality using mostly live instruments.

For his weekly May residency, he will be inviting various collaborators. 

Curtis’s music “suggests rough and rocking reflections on film music (Mancini and Hermann), Mothers of Invention and the Art Ensemble of Chicago.” The NY Times.
