They call him the Bitter Buddha, comedian Eddie Pepitone is a master of the dark art of comedy. Hailed as a modern day cross between Jackie Gleason, Don Rickles and Eckart Tolle.
Eddie is a force of nature on stage, switching between social rage and self-doubt. His shows are an energetic combo of calm and chaos, blue-collar angst and sardonic enlightenment. Few comedians working today channel the power of the rant better than Eddie Pepitone.
In addition to his regular stand-up shows, Eddie is stand-out comic/character actor. Beginning in New York City’s improv/sketch scene (where he quickly became a regular face), and continuing on to recurring roles on Late Night with Conan O’Brien. Eddie has also appeared on numerous comedy TV shows, including The Life and Times of Tim, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The Sarah Silverman Program, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Last Comic Standing, Chappelle’s Show, appearances on Bob’s Burgers, and he’s a regular on Adult Swim’s Your Pretty Face is Going to Hell. Fans also might recognize Pepitone from his role in the hit comedy Old School or from his multiple award-winning short, Runyon: Just Above Sunset, co-written by his wife Karen Simmons.
Nowadays Eddie can frequently be found on his must-follow

At once both observational and bitingly sardonic, and deemed the 'Godfather of Punk Rock Comedy' by 'Chicago Now', JT Habersaat created the groundbreaking DIY juggernaut The Altercation Punk Comedy Tour in 2007, which he headlined for over a decade. Recently named one of the Interrobang's 'Next Big Thing Comics', JT's newest one-hour comedy special 'Swamp Beast' was released on 800 Pound Gorilla / Warner Music Group, where it hit #1 on the Bestselling Amazon Comedy Charts.
JT curates the annual Altercation Comedy Festival in Austin, Texas, currently entering its 10th year and recently hailed by Vulture.com as one of their 'Top Comedy Festivals in the World'.
A prolific writer, Habersaat's 2018 tour diary novel 'Killing For A Living' received much critical acclaim. His brand new book ‘Doing Time: Comedians Talk Stand-Up' was released worldwide in July 2025 on London's distinguished Jawbone Press. The book has garnered rave reviews and coverage in the NY Post, XM Sirius Radio and beyond.
An ever-present road dog often teamed with comedy legends 'Bitter Buddha' Eddie Pepitone and ‘Mr. Show’ alumni Brian Posehn, JT has performed at famed venues such as The Comedy Store, The Hollywood Improv, City Winery NYC, Lincoln Lodge Chicago, The Punchline San Francisco and Dynasty Typewriter LA. His material can be heard worldwide in consistent rotation on platforms such as Today's Comedy Radio and XM Sirius Radio.
JT has released a trio of albums on the Grammy-winning imprint Stand Up! Records, has appeared on Comedy Central's sketch program 'The Upright Citizen's Brigade', and acted in the cult Troma Films hit 'Toxic Avenger 4'. JT has also toured as direct support for numerous punk and metal bands, including Off With Their Heads, Riverboat Gamblers, The Sword and The Dwarves. He is one of only a handful of comedians, including Marc Maron and Janeane Garofalo, to have shared the spoken word stage with Henry Rollins. In 2024, he became the first comedian ever to tour nationwide with spoken word icon Lydia Lunch. For doing so, Nick Cave called him ‘a very brave man’.
JT is a frequent national festival headliner, having in recent years appeared on Pouzza Fest Montreal, High Plains Denver, Akumal Comedy Festival Mexico, Bird City Comedy Fest Arizona, The Fest Florida, Savage Henry Comedy Fest , The Santa Cruz Comedy Festival, Punk Rock Bowling Fest Las Vegas, and Fun Fun Fun Fest Texas. During its heyday, he was one of a handful of comics invited to perform on the nation-spanning Vans' Warped Tour.
When not on tour, JT creates one-off custom action figure art pieces under the banner JT Customs. His work recently appeared at a Stephen King-themed showing of the Los Angeles-based Sugarmynt Gallery, and JT's art currently resides in the hands of such noted talent as Raymond Pettibon, Patton Oswalt, John Carpenter, the Kids in the Hall, Jim Jefferies and many more. In 2023 and 2024, JT was commissioned by the SXSW Comedy Festival to create official event trophies and action figures. A large toy work by JT is also slated to appear in David Lynch's upcoming public archives, which was a gift to the late filmmaker.
When not doing all of these things, JT enjoys bourbon, cats, and long stretches of silence.
