Trumpeter Eric Vloeimans (NL) and accordionist Will Holshouser (US) play evocative originals that span the range from emotional to fun, creating their own hybrid style that draws on jazz, chamber music, and many kinds of folk music from around the world. These two virtuoso musicians use the intimacy of the duo setting to full effect: lush trumpet and accordion timbres, plaintive melodies, and energetic improvising take listeners on a thrilling journey. Eric Vloeimans is one of the best-known musicians in his home country and is in constant demand there as a bandleader and guest soloist. Will Holshouser is a veteran of the New York music scene.
