ETAPA (Escuela de Tambor Afrovenezolano y Percusión Afrolatina) Presents A special Venezuelan Maracas Masterclass with Lucas Vaamonde.
Venezuela is host to one of the greatest maracas tradition in the Latin world, come learn from a master.
Lucas Vaamonde was born in Caracas, Venezuela in a family of musicians and traditionalists with more than 15 years of experience in percussion and Venezuelan rhythms. He currently resides in NJ and is a member of Curbata, San Juan NJ and Tambor y Caña (Afro-Venezuelan Groups).
It is a project created for the learning and development of Afro-Venezuelan and Afro-Latin percussion directed by Willie Quintana, for people of any age.
