"We're showcasing a vibrant palette of musical pieces," said Inessa Zaretsky, Artistic Director of Chamber Music on the Hudson. "This isn't your conventional classical music concert. Our lineup features a range of exceptional short pieces, spotlighting renowned musicians in a beautiful, not-traditional venue. The journey spans from 17th Century Europe to 21st Century America within an hour."
This musical evening, orchestrated by the esteemed Inessa Zaretsky, will feature members of the celebrated Tesla Quartet and Metropolitan Opera soloist, soprano Courtney Johnson. Audiences can anticipate a range of masterpieces from a Bach piano solo, classic operatic arias by Mozart and Verdi, culminating in Gershwin’s "Summertime" from Porgy and Bess, and spirituals which are Ms. Johnson’s hallmark.
