Experience an authentic taste of Lebanon.  At Habibi Village, we unite the vibrant flavors and Mediterranean spices of Lebanese street food, with organic ingredients and local artisanal toppings.  We make our signature gluten-free dough daily, using our all-organic blend of buckwheat, chia and cassava flour. Our Lebanese flatbreads, known as manouche or saj, are a cultural delicacy and a daily staple in villages across Lebanon.  Crafted with care, each flatbread is a testament to our commitment to quality and tradition. Life Like Water

Life Like Water is the creation of multi-instrumentalist and singer/songwriter, David Matters. It was initially started as a way for him to process his turbulent past and navigate an uncertain future, but it has since evolved into a communal effort to celebrate the human experience, with a focus on hypnotic rhythms, elegant vocal harmonies, and melodies with tastes of Africa, Ireland and the Middle East.

CASTANEA

Under the alias CASTANEA, David Brown of Rising Appalachia brings his musical versatility to the forefront, combining acoustic and electronic elements. Known for his skills on the upright bass and baritone guitar, Brown also excels in turntables and production, creating a sound that is as immersive as it is innovative. 

The name CASTANEA, referring to a tree species reviving from near extinction in North America's eastern forests, symbolizes the rejuvenation and transformation present in his music. This project showcases his ability to weave traditional sounds with contemporary beats, crafting tracks that resonate with a wide array of listeners. 

The Hawk & Hawthorne is a practicing permaculture community & regenerative event venue nestled just north of Asheville, NC. Check out the short video below for a glimpse into the magick.

Set in a retrofitted heritage tobacco barn amidst an expansive valley full of fruit trees, gardens, spring fed ponds & majestic views, The Hawk has been an organic gathering point for the Asheville & Barnardsville community for over 30 years, hosting hundreds of weddings, workshops & intimate live performances.

--> We are a non-alcoholic venue. Buchi Kombucha, Kefir Soda & Homemade Elixirs & food from our garden will be available at the bar. (Cash preferred; venmo/cards OK.)

If you’d like to join us but are low on cash, please email us at least a few days before the event at hawkandhawthorne@gmail.com & let us know what you CAN offer. We have discounted spots available for those who need them, including BIPOC & economically disadvantaged groups. 

Conversely, if you are in abundance & can offer extra, there is an optional "GRATUITY" on the ticket page. A $5 tip is automatically added but can be adjusted up, down or removed. Tips are shared equally amongst the crew. Thank you for helping make this dream work!

$13 goes to the musicians
$13 to the Hawk's community production team
$9 to the venue & farm
$1 goes to upgraded sound rental
$3 goes to credit card and processing fees

==> REFUNDS & RESALE: Refunds are not available. If you wish to re-sell, we recommend using the Facebook event page associated with this event. The Hawk also moderates a Telegram group. If you are buying tickets from people online, *please check with us first* to make sure they are genuine. Ticket scammers are  increasingly common on social platforms. We will not refund a ticket if you are scammed!
