Session 004:Healing Sounds of Nusantara ft. Agustian Supriatna
Recorded in Bali, Indonesia
Agustian Supriatna is a multitalented artist, musician, and sound healer based in Ubud, Bali. Born in the deep jungle of Lampung in 1981, he hails from a lineage of traditional healers deeply connected to the nature and wildlife of Sumatra. Chosen as a healer from a young age, Agustian dedicated himself to serving his village, learning extensively from his grandfather, the esteemed elder healer Datuk Raja Jaksa.
In collaboration with LILA, Agustian led a transformative concert that showcased the healing sounds of Nusantara, the Indonesian archipelago. The event featured an alluring musical experience that guided the audience on an inner healing journey through ancient Sanskrit mantras, Sufi chanting, and traditional Javanese and Sundanese lullabies. By integrating these sacred elements with his unique musical compositions, Agustian created a profound atmosphere of cultural richness and spiritual connection, offering attendees an immersive exploration of Indonesia's diverse healing traditions.
