Join us for an intimate live session with pianist and composer Micah Thomas, a generational voice whose playing balances deep roots in jazz tradition with a forward-leaning sense of invention and emotional range.
Micah has performed and recorded with Joshua Redman, Immanuel Wilkins, Ambrose Akinmusire, Joel Ross, and Melissa Aldana. As a bandleader, his acclaimed albums Tide, Piano Solo, and Mountains have earned praise from The New York Times, JazzTimes, and DownBeat. In 2024 alone, he was named “Best International Artist of the Year” by Jazz News, and included in DownBeat’s “25 for the Future.”
This Live From The Bridge installment captures Micah in an intimate, in-studio solo performance. The session will be recorded live by our engineers, with a small audience present in the room. It’s a rare opportunity to witness an artist at work—and to become part of the record.
