Ljova's FADOLIN TRIO
New sonorities, old friends –– Having released an album of solo fadolín music, it seemed natural for Ljova to focus next on creating new kind of ensemble and composing new chamber music with the fadolín as an integral instrument — and so, The Fadolín Trio was born, featuring violinist Sabina Torosjan, cellist Valeriya Sholokhova, and Ljova on fadolín. Some of our first public performances were at the Javits Center vaccination site and the new Moynihan Penn Station Terminal. Our Trio continues to explore new repertoire in concerts and outreach events, including venues such as Bargemusic, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and Symphony Space.
