LUDOVICA BURTONE SPARKS

"Sparks" is the translation of "falisčhe" from the friulano language of the northeast of Italy, where composer and violinist Ludovica Burtone is from, and it's also the nickname given to her family. Ludovica puts in music her journey from her past in classical music, to her present in Brazilian, jazz, and improvisational music, supported by a string quartet and rhythm section with piano, composed of musicians from different backgrounds, identities, and origins. Together they recently recorded Ludovica's first album, to be released in 2022"
