MARCO CAPPELLI AND THREE CARDS TRICK

Marco Cappelli and 3 Cards Trick’s music builds on a eclectic collection of material - covers, soundtracks, early music, original compositions - and takes it to unknown territory where all is possible. 

Marco is familiar with both rigorous written music and free improvisation languages and works as as contemporary music interpreteras well as a composer and bandleader. He has collaborated with Anthony Coleman, Butch Morris, Franco Piersanti, Marc Ribot, Elliott Sharp, Giovanni Sollima, Markus Stockhausen and many more.

In March of 2020, the trio had to interrupt their Italian tour (which had debuted at Barbès) due to a certain pandemic. With this Barbès appearance, Marco Cappelli intends to resume their journey where they left it off.
