This Week: the triumphant return of RECYCLED WALTZ ORCHESTRA
Over the years, the composer and reed player for the Klezmatics and the Paradox Trio has had an enormous influence on both the Balkan and Yiddish music revivals. His current and past projects have included tribute to Yussef lateef ( Yo Lateef); Duke Ellington (Ballin' The Jack); Celtic music (Cetlic Eclectic) and many more. Each week, Matt will be showcasing a different project with various special guests.

Recycled Waltz Orchestra -  Matt and Yuri’s project from the old Knitting Factory days recycles itself with a debut at Barbes.  Eclectic world repertoire and originals come to life in 4D with Matt Darriau on reeds (Klezmatics), the theatrical Yuri Lemeshev (Gogol Bordello) on accordion, Max Kutner (Oinga Boinga) on guitar and Ari Folman-Cohen (Stephane Wrembel) on bass.
