Over the years, the composer and reed player for the Klezmatics and the Paradox Trio has had an enormous influence on both the Balkan and Yiddish music revivals. His current and past projects have included tribute to Yussef lateef ( Yo Lateef); Duke Ellington (Ballin' The Jack); Celtic music (Cetlic Eclectic) and many more. Each week, Matt will be showcasing a different project with various special guests.

PARADOX TRIO: Matt Darriau's seminal band has been exploring all kinds of Balkan music for now over two decades. Bulgarian music features prominently as a deep influence, but their curious minds takes them all over the Balkan, all the way to unexplored corners of American music.
