Memorial Day Weekend Tabla Ashram 2024

This Chhandayan Tabla Ashram (workshop) will be conducted by Samir Chatterjee. Students of Tabla and other branches of music and dance interested in Indian rhythm may join. Students of all teachers and institutions are also welcome to join. A minimum level of learning experience is required. Students should bring their own instruments, notebooks, a non-intrusive recording device and may bring their water bottle and cushion, if needed. They should wear descent and comfortable dress. They should be in practice for a certain number of hours in preparation for the workshop.
Workshop Schedule:
Friday, May 24th - 10 am to 1 pm, 2 to 5 pm, and 6 to 9 pm,
Saturday, May 25th - 9 am to 12 pm, 1 to 3.30 pm, 4 to 6 pm; (concert from 7.30 to 9 pm),
Sunday, May 26th - 9 am to 12 pm, 1 to 3.30 pm, 4 to 6 pm (the building closes at 6 pm)
Monday, May 27th - 9 am to 12 pm, 1 pm to 4 pm, and 5 to 7 pm
