Oud player and sometimes guitarist Brian Prunka has been exploring the many aspects of middle-eastern music for years, with his groups Nashaz, and Sharq Attack as well as Bil Afrah Project, a collective dedicated to the music of Ziad Rahbani seminal album Bil Afrah.
With the Near East River Ensemble, Brian bings his Near Eastern mind closer to the New York water.
