Clarinetist
Sam Sadigursky was featured onstage in the Tony and Grammy Award winning The Band's Visit and most recently joined the Philip Glass Ensemble. He's also played with Fred Hersch, Brad Mehldau, and the Mingus Orchestra.
His latest release,
The Solomon Diaries, was originally inspired by the peculiar history and modern remnants of the Borscht Belt. The songs present Sadigursky's unique work, bringing together an eclectic mix of tradition, improvisation, global influences and a classical chamber intimacy.
