You are cordially invited by Veda Farms to attend an evening of wellness & rituals to celebrate the cosmic Lion's Gate alignment on Tuesday, August 8th at 6:00PM.
The Lion's Gate refers to an alignment that occurs every year between the Earth, the star Sirius, and the constellation Orion between July 26 and August 12, peaking on August 8th. It was believed in ancient times to be a time of heightened spiritual energy and an opportunity for positive transformation and growth. Sirius, also known as the "Dog Star," is the brightest star in the night sky and holds great importance in various cultures, including ancient Egypt, where it was linked to the goddess Isis and the annual flooding of the Nile River. Next, we will perform a traditional Vedic fire ceremony. The Vedic tradition recognizes fire as a powerful purifier and a conduit for divine energy. Through this ancient ritual, we aim to connect with the elemental forces, express our intentions, and invoke the transformative energy of the fire to manifest positive change within ourselves and the world around us. Specifically, we will be honoring the element of FIRE, one of the five fundamental elements of nature (i.e. fire, water, air, space and earth), in honor of the Lion's Gate astrological alignment in the fire sign of Leo.
