Although it is true that nothing compares to the experience of having a lesson in person with the Guru, yet there are many situations when that can be practically difficult or impossible to happen. In those situations, online lessons can be extremely beneficial towards learning and progress. Good video and audio equipment and high speed internet service would enhance quality of the lesson. It would also need to be remembered that none of the media allow overlap of audio, such as playing or singing together.
