ADARSH TOLAT
Adarsh is one of Chhandayan's prides. He has been studying at Chhandayan since his childhood. Now that he is about to graduate from high School, we are getting ready to congratulate him on his graduation from the eight-years course of Chhandayan Certificate Course in Tabla. He has been playing the tabla for around 10 years. He also plays the trumpet in his high school's select jazz band and serves as captain of the varsity tennis team. Adarsh is also a Boy Scout, recently earning the rank of Eagle.

In his final recital, Adarsh will open with a Tabla solo in Ektal. This will be followed by accompaniments with a Hindustani classical vocal performance by Arohi Tolat, and Hindustani violin performance by Vedant Kansara and a Kathak dance performance by Garavi Angreji. He will conclude with a jazz performance with Quinn Knox on piano and Krish Pandya on tenor saxophone.

Dhruvin Shah - vocal
Dhruvin Shah began his vocal training in Mumbai at the age of five with renowned dilruba maestro and vocalist Pt. Vinayak Vora. During his teenage years, he won several prestigious All-India classical music competitions, including the India Culture League and Swar Sadhana Samiti hosted in Mumbai. After completing his Sangeet Visharad and receiving further training from Vidushi Tulika Ghosh, he went on to study architecture at Yale University. Now an architect based in New York City, Dhruvin is continuing his musical tutelage under Pt. Sanjoy Banerjee of the Kirana Gharana, maintaining a balance between his creative pursuits in music and architecture.

Vedant Kansara - Violin
Vedant Kansara, a high-school senior, is from Farmington, CT. After playing western classical music in school since 2nd grade, Vedant started learning Indian classical music at the age of eight, initially in the Carnatic tradition, and then switching to the Hindustani tradition. Since the last seven years, Vedant, along with his sister Rudra, has continued to train with his Guru Shri Raaginder Singh ji Momi (disciple of Late Vidushi Sisirkana Dhar Choudhury) in the Maihar Gharana style of music. Following his musical lineage, Vedant plays a violin with five main and eight sympathetic strings.

Garvi Angreji - Kathak dance
Garavi grew up training in Kathat since she was 6 years old. She completed her training when she was 17 and completed her Rang Manch Pravesh. She then completed her Undergraduate and Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Drexel University in Philadelphia. She is now a Physical Therapist working in an outpatient clinic in New York City. She continues to enjoy practicing Kathak as often as she can!

Quinn Knox - alto saxiphone
Quinn is a member of Hall High School’s Concert Jazz Band, as well as the Jazz at Lincoln Center Youth Orchestra. He won the Outstanding Alto Soloist Award as a finalist at Essentially Ellington with the Hall CJB in 2025.

Krish Pandya - tenor saxophone
Krish Pandya is currently a senior at Hall High School. He plays the tenor, baritone, and alto saxophone, as well as the clarinet. He is a member of several youth jazz bands, including the Jazz at Lincoln Center Youth Orchestra, the William H. Hall High School Concert Jazz Band, and Connecticut All-State and Northern Regional Jazz Bands. He has been a part of the Mingus and Essentially Ellington competitions as well.

At the beginning event, there will be light refreshments served from 6 pm.
