ATOTAL: An Audiovisual Concert by Franck Vigroux with special guests M.E.A.T.
ATOTAL is an immersive audiovisual concert that examines the mechanisms of control, repetition, and synchronization in modern society. French composer Franck Vigroux's powerful electronic music is paired with generative visual systems to create a total sensory environment - one where sound, light, and motion converge, dissolve, and reassemble.
Drawing on the concept of the Gesamtkunstwerk (“total work of art”), ATOTAL reconstructs - and then deconstructs - the processes through which rhythm, light, and image impose coherence, proposing instead a space for rupture and release.
Special Guests: M.E.A.T. (Music Experiments in Emerging Arts and Technology) M.E.A.T. is a community of artists and scientists exploring the intersections of sound and technology. They present BUTCHER, an open-source system for converting DJ audio signals into responsive data for lights, lasers, and projections -creating unified, real-time, audio-reactive environments.
