Charlotte Greve is a Brooklyn-based alto saxophonist, composer, and singer originally from Germany. She has released nine albums as a band leader, winning the ECHO Jazz Prize twice and being named “Artist of the Year” at the German Jazz Prize in 2022. Greve also leads the indie-pop band Wood River, which debuted in 2015 and released their second album, “More Than I Can See,” in 2020. Her notable multi-genre piece, “Sediments We Move,” was released in October 2021 and received widespread recognition.
Anna Webber is a Canadian saxophonist, flutist, and composer based in Brooklyn, known for her avant-garde jazz. From 2013 to 2016, she alternated releases between her ensembles, the Percussive Mechanics septet and the Simple Trio. Notable works include the self-titled “Percussive Mechanics” (2013) and its follow-up “Refraction”, as well as her trio's debut album “SIMPLE” (2014), which won the BMI Foundation Charlie Parker Jazz Composition Prize. Webber’s innovative style has earned her accolades as a saxophonist, flutist, and arranger.
