Love to sing? Well, your moment has arrived. On Saturday, October 18 from 4 to 7 PM, music lovers from all walks of life will come together for a One-Day Chorus Community Sing-Along, an unforgettable chance to raise your voice with Key of Q, the Hudson Valley’s LGBTQ+ & Allied a cappella chorus, and raise funds for the Hudson Valley LGBTQ+ Community Center.
Whether you’re in a local choir, used to sing in college, or just like to belt out harmonies in your car, this event is for you. No audition. No pressure. Just fun harmonies, great vibes, and a room full of people who love singing as much as you do. And this isn’t your average sing-along. Participants will join Key of Q in performing a bold, cheeky arrangement of “F**k You” by Lily Allen – in full four-part harmony – as part of a collective, high-energy afternoon of music-making with a mission.
This sing-along is about building community, raising money, and reminding ourselves and the world that queer joy is a force and we will not be silenced. All proceeds benefit the Hudson Valley LGBTQ+ Community Center, whose life-affirming work supports thousands of queer people across the region.
