We're thrilled to announce that Meg Toohey and Elizabeth & the Catapult will be joining us for a live performance on Sunday, July 20th! Come into a space full of beautifully blended sounds of indie-folk and piano pop, as we welcome them. Tickets go on sale Tuesday, June 10th at 10am!
Meg Toohey (@metoohey) has co-written with some of the greatest living songwriters (Sara Bareilles and Lori Mckenna). Her songs have been featured on countless TV shows and films. As a guitarist, Toohey helped orchestrate “Waitress The Musical” (Broadway) and “Wild About You” (West End, 2024). She produced the star-studded all-female “Jesus Christ Superstar” with Shoshana Bean, Cynthia Erivo and Ledisi. Meg has played for Sara Bareilles, Brandy Clark, Mandy Moore, Jason Mraz, Laura Benanti, Rubben Studdard, Clay Aiken, Gavin Creel, Keala Settle, and may more. She has released 12 albums under various bands and as a solo artist and has a new recording coming in 2025.
Elizabeth Ziman, who performs as Elizabeth & the Catapult (@thecatapult), is a singer-songwriter from Brooklyn. She’s collaborated with Esperanza Spalding, Gillian Welch, Blake Mills and Ben Folds; scored, with Paul Brill, a variety of international award-winning documentaries including Trapped, a Peabody winner; and won an Independent Music Award for Songwriting. Her songs have been featured in national television campaigns for Google and Amazon. She composed music for Sara Bareilles’ Apple TV show, Little Voice. Always writing, Elizabeth narrowed her vast collection of previously unrecorded material down to her fifth full-length studio album “Sincerely, e”, which she self-produced at home and released on Compass Records in March 2021. One of the singles off that album, “Together Alone”, made it onto NPR’s All Songs Considered 10 best songs of 2021 list.
