Boards of Canada: Inferno Listening Party

A release-day deep listening experience inside Alternity’s Vibrodome.

Boards of Canada return with Inferno, their first new studio album since Tomorrow’s Harvest in 2013. The album is scheduled for release on Friday, May 29, 2026 via Warp Records.

To mark the release, Alternity is hosting an intimate listening party inside the Vibrodome, a 360° immersive projection environment with a vibroacoustic floor, cinematic visuals, and focused full-room sound.

Each session is a two-hour deep listening experience where the audience can hear Inferno in a physical, visual, and immersive environment created for full-album attention. Visuals will be assembled and performed live by Michael Strauss, extending the album into a dome-based audiovisual experience.

The format is intimate and limited to 26 guests per session, creating a focused environment for listeners who want to experience the album with presence, depth, and atmosphere.

A floor-based listening position inside the Vibrodome, designed to let guests experience the music through both sound and physical vibration.

Beanbag Seating

A relaxed rear-dome listening position with full visual access, immersive sound, and a comfortable seated experience.
