About Artistic Director Mona Miari: Mona Miari is an internationally renowned Palestinian-American artist, singer, and songwriter known for her profound artistry and dedication to elevating Arabic music globally. Based in New York City, she seamlessly blends Palestinian and Levantine heritage with diverse influences, captivating audiences worldwide.
She has graced prestigious stages, including Lincoln Center, BAM, Opera America, and The Great American Music Hall, and made history as the first Arab singer to perform at Boston’s Hatch Memorial Shell. A headliner at major festivals such as BRIC - Celebrate Brooklyn.
Mona’s artistry extends beyond performance, with high-profile collaborations with renowned international artists that have resulted in a series of extraordinary musical and artistic projects, each reflecting her global influence and visionary approach, reinforcing her role as a key figure in cross-cultural musical dialogue.
