Sacred Cacao & Hapéh Ceremony
Women's Circle
Facilitated by Amaru from Guided By Grandma
Wednesday, September 10th
From 7:30 - 10:30 PM
Private Home in the Lakewood, NJ Area
Please RSVP for Address
Dear Sisters,
Join us in the Lakewood, NJ area for a Sacred Cacao & Hapéh Ceremony.
This ceremonial experience includes energetic cleansing with copal, connecting deeper to our heart space with ceremonial cacao, and grounding into our physical bodies with hapéh - a powerful medicine from the Amazon Rainforest.
Each of our ceremonies are slightly different depending on who shows up in our sacred circle, always catering & tailoring the work to the unique individuals who attend.
Guided meditation, working with our breath, music & live singing are used as tools of connecting to the the plant medicines, to ourselves, and to each other as a community.
We come to release what no longer serves us and to feel reconnected, renewed, restored, rejuvenated and held within a safe circle of sisterhood.
All of the plant medicines that we use are natural, organic, and the highest quality that we source ourselves directly.
COPAL - Cleanses the energetic field
CACAO - Connects us to our heart space
HAPÉH - Ground us into our bodies
MAPACHO - Aids in clear communication
WATER - May water be the only medicine we ever need and the cure for all ailments
- This is a Sacred Circle for Women
- The Cacao will be Kosher - Prepared in a Kosher kitchen
- The recipe for the Cacao is: Ceremonial Grade Cacao, Spring Water, Cinnamon, Honey & Love
- If you are vegan, please let us know in advance, and we can make Cacao for you without the honey
- Our ceremonies are very gentle. We share more about each medicine during the ceremony
- All of the medicines are optional, however we do encourage you to drink the cacao, since it is a cacao ceremony
- To be clear, none of these medicines are "psychedelic" and yes, they are 100% legal
- Please let us know if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or on prescription medication. There are NO known contraindications, however we like to be aware
- Please let us know if you have any allergies
- Please do your best to be on time so that we can start together
WHAT TO WEAR:
For ceremonial work, I always suggest wearing light, natural, breathable fabrics (cotton or linen are best) and dressing in comfortable layers. It's always great to be prepared to sit on the floor on a yoga mat with a back-jack.
WHAT TO BRING:
The space has yoga mats and back-jacks. Please bring a personal water bottle, a notebook & pencil, and any sacred items that you feel connected to... For example, some bring a photograph of a loved one or maybe a necklace that your Grandma gave you... Feathers, crystals... Musical instruments, if you play one.
HOW TO ARRIVE:
It's always great to be hydrated. I also recommend not eating right before the ceremony. If the ceremony starts at 7:30, perhaps stop eating around 5:00/5:30, so that you can be fully digested. You don't want to arrive hungry, but you also don't want to be too full. Find the balance. This should go without saying, but please arrive sober. Please be on time so that we can start together. Thank you.
DONATION:
Thank you in advance for your donation. This work requires A LOT of our energy, the medicines are expensive, and we travel from far away. However, we want this work to be accessible and we don't want to price anyone out. This is why we have a sliding scale of $55 - $222. Some people ask a lot for this type of work, because it truly does require so much effort on the facilitator (!!!) However, we love working with different types of people. Please donate what you can, from your heart. Whatever you donate, I wish it to multiply back to you many times over.
