On Saturday, July 25, 2026, Cornell Park comes alive with music, dance, culture, and community!

TEMPO in the Park: World Music Festival is a FREE, outdoor, family-friendly celebration of the diverse traditions that have shaped Kingston and the greater Hudson Valley - a full day of music & dance from around the world - Mexican brass, Guinean Afro-beat, Arabic-Yemeni folk, Balkan brass, World-Beat garage jazz and an Irish session on the Main Stage plus Afro-Cuban drumming, choral pieces from Georgia, Ukraine and the Balkans, Indian classical, Latinx folk, and Old time and Cajun fiddling on the Second Stage.

TEMPO in the Park is presented by TEMPO Performing Arts Center in collaboration with the City of Kingston and Radio Kingston. Cornell Park sits directly across the street from TEMPO's home in the historic Trinity Methodist Church on Wurts Street — making this a true neighborhood celebration rooted in the heart of the Rondout.

This is the first annual Kingston World Music & Cultural Festival, with a vision to grow into a beloved summer tradition for the Hudson Valley.
