The Practice with Tasha Blank
This is an invitation into your electricity.
September 18 we gather for a barefoot, sober, free-form & facilitated dance.
HOW WE ROLL:
- Space is limited
- Arrive early
- Be sober
- No talking
- No street shoes
- No phones or photos
BRING:
- Yourself, exactly as you are
- Curiosity
- Water
- Comfy clothes to move + sweat in
- Hand towel / change of clothes if you sweat a lot :)
HOW WE MAKE THIS A SAFER SPACE:
Zero tolerance for harassment of any kind. Ask for consent before touching, either through clear body language, or use words if you’re not sure. Look out for one another. This is not contact improv. No inversions (ie: handstands) unless you’re a professional acrobat (yes really).
ACCESSABILITY, ARRIVALS & LATE ENTRY
Check-in begins at 6:50, and we recommend arriving by 6:55 to ensure a smooth check-in. No entry after 7:30pm. All abilities welcome, please note there are 12 steps to climb to enter the building. Dance shoes are welcome if you need foot support. No dance experience necessary.
