Using art making and meditation, we will explore the idea of the spiral as related to our view of ourselves. Participants will make collages and drawings using various materials such as watercolor, pencil, crayon, etc. Open to all.

In conjunction with “Crossing Over”, an exhibition and memorial for Nancy Azara at the Kleinert/James Center for the Arts, Woodstock, NY. Nancy Azara was a sculptor who worked in wood and whose scroll rubbings and tracings were collaged on mylar and paper. Azara exhibited her work extensively through the Hudson Valley, New York City and internationally. She was the author of Spirit Taking Form: Making a Spiritual Practice of Making Art, Red Wheel/Weiser and the subject of the monograph VOTIVES: Sculptures:Nancy Azara (2022). www.nancyazara.com
