San Francisco multi-instrumentalist duo Camille Mai & Daniel Riera present an intimate concert in a private home in San Francisco's Mission district. A masks-required event.

This concert will be a little different! Rather than coming to you with a pre-defined setlist, we invite the audience to request a mood, genre, or language from our Vibes Menu (see below). We'll pick requests randomly from a jar and draw from our extensive repertoire of original songs and favorite covers to take you on an acoustic adventure...

About the fundraiser: Yazan is a 17yo living in a refugee camp in Gaza, and the sole breadwinner of his family. Recently his family's tent got water damaged and became unusable, just as winter is coming. We are trying to raise $850 for a new tent. All proceeds will go to Yazan and his family.

Concert location is on the 2nd floor in a private home, up a flight of stairs.
Seated capacity ~18, first come first served.

COVID precautions:

High-quality (N95, KN95, KF94 or higher) masks are required to be worn at all times. (A variety of masks will be available for free on a first-come first-served basis!)
Windows will be open if it's not raining, and HEPA filters will be running throughout.
Unmasked musicians will take a molecular (PlusLife) test before the show.
Please stay home if you have any symptoms or known exposure to any respiratory illness.

About the Artists

Camille Mai is an artist who keeps every door open. A pianist, vocalist, composer and leader of the uncategorizable band Rebirth Canal, they've created a protean body of songs infused with Latin American rhythms, French Chanson, traditional Vietnamese modes, jazz improvisation, and far beyond. Stay tuned for their first full-length album, funded by a San Francisco Arts Commission grant and due for 2026!
Daniel Riera is a Latin-Grammy nominated multi-instrumentalist, producer, and composer from San Francisco, CA. He plays the flute, wind-controller, modular synthesizer, guitar, and bass. He performs with his jazz-fusion quartet the Daniel Riera Ensemble as well as alternative jazz artists like Rebirth Canal, Kev Choice, Mara Hruby and Indian bhangra fusion group the KGS Band. His music has been featured on NPR on the Tiny Desk Contest, as well as the podcasts Snap Judgment! And Spooked! As a beat maker and songwriter he has collaborated with La Doña, Watsky and Los Tangueros del Oeste, for which he was nominated for a 2022 Latin-Grammy for best Tango album.
