== SLIDING SCALE TICKETS ==

We know money has different value to people depending on their circumstances -- we are experimenting with a new sliding scale ticket model called "Proud to Pay."  

For this show, tickets are priced at $33, $40 or $50.

If we sold out this show at $33 tickets, the venue barely breaks even.  The true cost of this show is at least $40 / person, but we also value accessibility and community vibes.

== ARTIST BIOS ==

EQUANIMOUS

Equanimous is a music producer, DJ, and multi-instrumentalist. He gathers elements from the world around him to create a sound that defies genres, pushes boundaries, and can only accurately be described as a one of a kind heart-expansive experience. His music resonates with a variety of listeners and creates a joyous high vibrational atmosphere on the dance floor. Equanimous up-levels the electronic music experience by playing live djembe / drums, keys, and beatboxing along with his tracks. He's known for his deep bass, beautiful melodies, live looping, and creative rhythmic beats that take people into a state of euphoric dancing and heart-centered bliss.

Ruby Chase serves up a unique ritualistic approach to live performance, weaving a broad span of musical flavors ranging from bass to latin, downtempo to house. Blending this range of global dance tracks with her original music, ethereal live vocals and interactive invitations, Ruby’s sets turn the dance floor into a ceremony.

Sierra Marin is a singer, songwriter, rapper and producer from San Diego. She typically performs with live looping to create a soundscape upon which she lays melodies and lyrics to bring to light the beauty of the journey of the awakening individual in these times of transformation, to highlight the beauty in becoming.  Joined by Dakota Drake on percussion and flute, Their intentional songs are the soundtrack to an awakening humanity, acknowledging the work one must do to heal through trauma and pain in order to reach a remembrance of unconditional love, harmony, and the perfection of each individual on this earth!

== ABOUT HAWK & HAWTHORNE ==

The Hawk & Hawthorne is a practicing permaculture community & venue nestled just north of Asheville, NC.

Set in a freshly renovated heritage tobacco barn amidst an expansive valley full of fruit trees, homestead gardens, spring fed ponds & majestic views. The Hawk has been an organic gathering point for the Asheville & Barnardsville community for over 30 years, hosting hundreds of weddings, workshops & intimate live performances.

The community here is emerging in response to the challenges of our times -- drawing strength from folk traditions and each other to create containers for the emergent human renaissance to celebrate & grow. Through cooperation, music, crafting & regenerative agriculture practices, we are rediscovering our sense of belonging; to the land & each other.

--> We are a non-alcoholic venue. Buchi Kombucha, Kefir Soda & Elixirs will be available at the bar. (Cash preferred; venmo/cards OK.)

=== CAMPING AT THE HAWK ===

Camping at the Hawk included access to drinking springs, forest trails as well as bathrooms, power, a hot shower, wifi and a sweet covered living room space in the barn to hang out.  We also have two bell tents with included air mattresses.  Please email us at hawkandhawthorne@gmail.com if you are interested in booking these.
