Esther Crow & Strawbitty Yops
Born and raised in NYC, Esther Crow is an award-winning singer/songwriter, puppeteer and teacher. She started writing music for kids after the birth of her son, Vincent Crow (now 9!), in 2013. Thunder & Sunshine- a 6 piece band with 3 female singers- released one album in 2017, which received an Award of Excellence from the Film Advisory Board. Crow and her puppets (and sometimes, her family) perform regularly throughout NYC, weaving comedy and kindness into each show. Families are encouraged to shake instruments, move to the beat of her groovy tunes, and take better care of the environment, and each other.

The band is Cindy Haws, an accessible music teacher and multi-instrumentalist and songwriter, Woody Hill, a songwriter, guitar player and percussionist as well as beat box master, Autumn Haws (Cindy's daughter) and talented vocalist and songwriter, and Thelonious Haws-Rice who is 4 and who sings and adds beatbox to several of the tracks.
