APAHM Chinatown Dumpling Workshop: Immersive Dinner Edition

Make Dumplings. Make a Difference.

We’re hosting a special dumpling workshop this May in Think!Chinatown’s cozy kitchen studio, in celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. Rooted in our neighborhood, Manhattan’s Chinatown, this workshop is an invitation to connect more deeply with the foodways of the Chinese diaspora. Expect a hands-on cooking experience, shared stories, and a meal made together.

Designed for small groups, teams, ERGs, and friends who want to support, this experience offers a more guided and elevated format than our public workshops. Together, we’ll prepare traditional pork dumpling fillings, learn a range of folding techniques, and dive into insider tips and tricks to dumpling making. We’ll then sit down to enjoy our freshly cooked dumplings alongside seasonal vegetarian dishes, creating space to slow down, connect, and celebrate.

Tickets are $88 per person. We’re happy to offer a special rate for a table of 6 at $500. Proceeds directly support Think!Chinatown’s year-round programming, helping us continue to offer accessible, community-rooted workshops in the neighborhood.

This is an adult-focused event. Children ages 10+ are permitted with a full-price ticket and must remain under adult supervision at all times.
