Poet KarenSchoemer records and performs with several bands, including Sky Furrows, Jaded Azurites, Ivan the Tolerable, Day for Nights, and Karen & Peter. A former music journalist, she came to poetry and performance in midlife, with decades of music immersion in tow. Her debut solo album, August, featuring 31 poems set to music by Mike Watt, Eric Hardiman, Parashi, Oli Heffernan, Wednesday Knudsen and others, is out 10/24 on Dromedary Records.

CreativeWriting bends the arc towards classic song forms with influences ranging from the humid chime of Big Star, post-punk touchstones like Sad Lovers & Giants, and the scratchy obscurity of various indie faves who might have once called Flying Nun or Homestead home. So far in 2025 Creative Writing have released the debut EP "True 90s" on their own Sham Decade Tapes and a full length LP "Baby Did This" on Madrid's Meritorio Records.
WednesdayKnudsen is a multi-instrumentalist living in upstate New York. She has performed and recorded both as a solo artist and with many groups including Pigeons, Weeping Bong Band, Willie Lane, Stella Kola, Kryssi Battalene and P.G. Six. Her solo compositions and performances are minimalist and ambient. Her new solo album, “Atrium”, is scheduled for release in Fall 2025.
