Kalthoumiyyat Trio, in a one-of-a-kind trio performance on Tuesday July 8th, three unique artists present a special evening of Egyptian and Tunisian music: voice, oud, and riq. The singer and oud player will be coming all the way from Canada, and they will be joined by none other than Johnny Farraj on riq, a regular performer at Barzakh. 

This unique trio will present its own interpretations of some of Um Kulthum’s greatest masterpieces, such as Enta Omri, Alf Leila We Leila, Daarat Al Ayyaam, and Lel Sabr Hedoud. They will also perform some of the most beloved songs from Tunisia.
