Bobby McMan "‘Splains It All” is a solo show in drag. Bobby’s silly mustache is the highlight of his appearance. Believing he is an expert on women, Bobby teaches men to treat women with respect, but he always misses the mark. His confidence and cluelessness define him, and yet, so does his earnestness. Come learn from Bobby!
The gal behind the 'stache: Becca Stabile is a writer, actor, clown, musician, and theater teacher. She studied ensemble based physical theatre at Dell’Arte International School of Physical Theatre and she has taken clown and acting classes with various teachers in NYC, RI, and San Francisco, CA. She has collaborated in devising several theater and film pieces with other actors and musicians in NYC as well as small communities, and has taught and guided both adults and children to create their own shows. Additionally, Becca has played many comedic and dramatic roles in plays, such as Petra in “An Enemy of the People.” She also facilitated social justice related shows for Theatre of the Oppressed NYC, as well as worked as a clown in children’s hospitals. Becca has done solo acts in variety shows, but this is her first full length solo show.
