33% of our low fees go to the Universal Creator Income Fund

The rates above are each company's published US fees for a paid ticket as of October 8, 2026. Eventbrite's figure is its service fee plus the payment processing it charges on top; Viewcy's is our fee before Stripe's processing, which is listed below.

What a buyer pays for a $25 ticket when the organizer passes every fee on, worked from each company's published US rates on October 8, 2026; the one marked as an estimate rests on a rate the company does not publish:

• Viewcy: about $27.08 (1.0% + $0.69, plus Stripe's 2.9% + $0.30, worked out the way our fee calculator does it: the fee is grossed up so that the organizer still nets the full $25)
• Universe: about $27.15, an estimate (2% + $0.59 published; its processing fee is not)
• Luma: $27.47 (5% plus Stripe's 2.9% + $0.30 on its free plan; Luma's fees cannot be added at checkout, so the organizer has to raise the price to net the $25)
• Humanitix: $27.54 (2.1% + $0.99 + 2.9% + $0.30; $27.27 for charities)
• Prekindle: $28.09 (3% + $1.59 + 3% processing)
• Posh: $28.49 (10% + $0.99, processing included)
• Eventbrite: $28.52 (3.7% + $1.79 + 2.9% processing)
• DICE and Tixr do not publish their fees.

Viewcy is free to create events and free to accept RSVP's. Viewcy is also free when accepting donations on online events.

For ticketed events, we add a small fee of 1.0% + $0.69 / ticket. 33% of ticket fees go into our Universal Creator Income Fund, which helps seed collaborative, artist-curated projects from around the world.

To process credit cards, we use Stripe. When accepting payments in the US from US based patrons, Stripe fees are 2.9% + $0.30. You can offset all these costs and even increase your margins, by adding fees to your tickets. How much fees you add is completely up to you.

Memberships sold through Viewcy carry a platform fee of 5% by default, plus Stripe's processing fee; your organizer settings show the rate that applies to your account and currency. Reserved seating adds a small per-seat fee, shown in your organizer settings. Negotiated rates for larger organizers are set in writing and shown in the same place.
