Join us on May 21st at The Jalopy Theatre to raise funds for The 11th Annual Brooklyn AmericanaFest which takes place September 18 - 21, 2025. Featuring bright lights of our Brooklyn Folk, Country Blues, and Americana community: Rashad Brown, Rima Fand, Feral Foster, Hilary Hawke, Jesse Lenat, Squiretown, Samoa Wilson & Ernesto Gomez AKA Fatboy Wilson & Old Viejo Bones, Hosted by Festival Founder Jan Bell. 
As part of tonight's program, we doff our hats to two folk music legends: Michael Hurley, and Hazel Dickens in celebration of their lives as singers and songwriters. 

The Annual festival presents 20+ bands from Brooklyn, New Orleans, Nashville, Austin, and across the country. Opening Night Sept. 18 takes place at Jalopy Theatre - followed by three days of free live music in Red Hook and Dumbo Sept 19 - 21 at women owned and operated  independent establishments Superfine, 68 Jay St, and Sunny's. Our outdoor stage in Dumbo Archway in partnership with Dumbo BID presents two days of free live music for all ages.  

Tonight's goal is 5K - which is the average grant Brooklyn Americana received from the NYC Dept. of Cultural Affairs every year since 2017, but unfortunately is not being awarded this year. 

Many festival artists have gone on to play Lincoln Center, Madison Square Garden, Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, New Orleans Jazz Fest, Glastonbury, Broadway, The Opry, and Late Night TV. 

Other than opening night, Brooklyn Americana Music Festival is free of charge and is supported by New York State Council on the Arts, The Office of Councilman Lincoln Restler, and generous donations from small business and individual music loving humans.
