Nostalgia, led by Chilean multi instrumentalist and singer Benjamin Schnacke, specializes in a vintage repertoire of Latin American boleros and waltzes. Boleros and criollo waltzes have long been Latin American's ultimate expression of love and suffering, and have a rare multi-generational appeal.
For this project, Benjamín Schnake plays mostly requinto - a small traditional guitar often used by the classic romantic bolero trios - but he doesn't forget the Andean influences that permeates the bolero, waltzes and other cortaveinas tradition in South America.
