He graduated in MPB (Bachelor of Instrumental Arrangement), at Unirio. He played for five years at the Pro-Arte Universal Music Workshop, taught by Itiberê Zwarg, bassist of Hermeto Pascoal. He recorded the CD and score book "Caminhos da Paz" in 2006, sponsored by Petrobrás. Since 2006, he has been part of the Água Viva Group, which released his first album "Mundo ao Revés" in 2011. In 2016 he released the album "O Louco". They played at jazz festivals in Latin America. Integrates the project Emaranhado, created by guitarist and composer André Muato. The group recorded live DVD, released in 2014. On January 6, 2016 Emaranhado participated in a great concert at Sala Cecília Meireles. Show by pianist, composer and singer Clarice Assad with André Muato in honor of the great Milton Nascimento. He played with guitarist and composer Daniel Marques. In 2012, he participated in his European tour, passing through five countries: Helsinborg (Sweden), Helsinky (playing at Korjaamo) and Tampere (Finland), Saint Petersburg (playing at JFC Jazz Club), Moskow and Kirov (Russia), in Tallinn (Estonia), at the Clazz Jazz Club and in Krakow (Poland), at Harry's Bar. He worked with the guitarist and composer Alexandre Gismonti with whom he formed, Alexandre Gismonti Trio. The group released the CD "Baião de domingo" in 2009. He is Endorser of Istanbul Mehmet Cymbals .
