ABOUT
OUR MISSION is to help increase the public's awareness and acceptance of Autism, while improving the quality of life and hope for children with Autism. We will achieve this goal by introducing children on the Autism Spectrum, their families/caregivers to our Kidz into Action Program. This will help to improve their self-esteem and social interaction, increase their communication and leadership skills plus teach them how to sustain regular lifelong physical activity as a foundation for a healthy, productive and fulfilling life. Such can also help an individual improve their skills in areas such as sensory issues, behavior, cognition, perceptual/motor skills, and self-reliance or self-determination. We also believe that by teaching children the basics of organized individual instruction & team play they will learn the values of teamwork & community in a fun and safe atmosphere. By participating in our Kidz into Action Program, children will be given the opportunity to improve their self esteem, social, communication and leadership skills and also teach them how to sustain regular lifelong physical activity as a foundation for a healthy, productive and fulfilling life. We also believe that by teaching the basics of team play and peer integration they will learn the values of teamwork, sportsmanship and community in a fun and safe atmosphere. Programs are "Free of Charge" but parents are asked to register their child or children for one year(annual registration fee). Please note that some programs carry a weekly surcharge for coach(s) and/or facility use. Cost varies and should not exceed $20.00 per session and are available to Kidz into Action Members only, non-members will be asked to pay a higher fee to participate. Please note that we encourage sibling involvement and only ask that you pay for their program participation - there is No Annual Membership Fee for Siblings.
