Alia Komsany is a population health researcher and holds a PhD in Medical Sciences from the University of Oxford. Her work spans molecular oncology, epidemiology, health services research, and community-engaged research, with a particular focus on Arab American, immigrant, and underserved populations. A former national-team rower, she is passionate about community building, cultural connection, and representation. As a co-founder of Awtaan Ensemble, Alia supports programme development, community engagement, and operations.
